5.10.2 Dynamic Braking (cont'd)
4) DB resistors should be installed as near to the inverter as possible with
temperature constraints in mind.
5) Exercise caution when working around
the DB resistors; they can become
extremely hot when used in conjunction with long duty cycles and high
inertia loads.
6) PA-PB dynamic braking
resistor (DBR) terminals are at
high DC bus voltage potential. Do not touch PA - PB terminals when
the charge or power LED lamp is on.
Note:
Consult factory for DBR sizing.
