2. NAVIGATION DATABASE UPDATES
1 Open the cover and connect a USB
memory.
Type A
Type B
2 Select “Yes” when the confirmation
screen appears.
3 Enter license key.
If the license key is invalid, the navigation
database will not be updated.
4 Select “Confirm”.
5 Check that the updating screen is dis-
played.
UPDATING NAVIGATION
DATABASE
Navigation database which contains
system software, map data, Gracenote
database, etc., can be updated using a
USB memory.
For details, contact Toyota dealer or
refer to Toyota portal site
(www.my.toyota.eu
).
Updating may not complete correctly in
the following cases:
• Vehicles with a smart entry & start sys-
tem: If the power <engine> switch is
turned off during updating.
• Vehicles without a smart entry & start
system: If the engine switch is turned
to the “LOCK” position during updating.
• If the USB memory is removed before
updating is complete
The amount of time required to complete
the update process depends on the size
of the data.
