7. OPERATING AN APPLICATION USING CONNECTED SERVICE*
1 Open the cover and connect a USB
memory.

Type B
Turn on the power of the USB memory if it
is not turned on.
2 Select “Yes” when the confirmation
screen appears.
3 Select “Enter Key” and then enter the
license key.
If the license key is invalid, the application
will not be downloaded.
4 Select “Confirm”.
5 Check that the updating screen is dis-
played.
DOWNLOADING AN
APPLICATION TO THE
SYSTEM
To download an application, a USB
memory that contains the application
data is required. For details about an
application, refer to Toyota portal site
(www.my.toyota.eu
).
*: Navigation system only
Downloading may not complete cor-
rectly in the following cases:
• Vehicles with a smart entry & start sys-
tem: If the power <engine> switch is
turned off during downloading.
• Vehicles without a smart entry & start
system: If the engine switch is turned
to the “LOCK” position during down-
loading
• If the USB memory is removed before
downloading is complete
