5-2. Emergency measures
With the brake pedal firmly depressed, press the "Engine Start
Stop" switch.
Manual car
Depress the clutch pedal and brake pedal with the shift lever set to
N.

"Engine start / stop"

The key cannot be detected correctly and a warning buzzer

Switches to the ignition ON mode. If you cancel the smart entry & start
system with the customize function, it will switch to accession mode.

■How to stop the engine
Set the shift lever to P (automatic car) or N (manual car) and press the "engine
start / stop" switch in the same way as to stop the engine normally.

The engine starting method described here is a temporary measure. If the battery runs out, we
