5-2. Emergency measures
Vehicles without smart entry & start system: Vehicles with smart
entry & start system that start the engine of the own vehicle after
turning the engine switch to "ON" while maintaining the engine
rotation of the rescue vehicle:
While maintaining the engine rotation of the rescue vehicle, set the
"engine start / stop" switch to the ignition ON mode and then start
the engine of the own vehicle.
When the engine of your car starts, disconnect it in the reverse order of
connecting the booster cable.
Even if the engine starts, please have it inspected at a Toyota dealer as soon as possible.

■About starting when the battery is dead (automatic car)
This vehicle cannot be started by push start.
■To prevent the battery from running out
●Turn off the lights and audio when the engine is not running.
●If you have been stopped for a long time due to traffic jams, turn off unnecessary electrical
components.
■When the battery is dead
The information stored on your computer will be erased. If the battery runs out,
have it inspected at a Toyota dealer.
