door,orwhenitisnearthegroundorinahighplace.
‑Whentheelectronickeyisplacedontheinstrumentpanel,floor,door
pocket,glovebox,etc.whentheengineisstartedorthemodeisswitched.
●Ifyougooutofthecarwiththeelectronickeyplacedontheuppersurfaceoftheinstrumentpanelor
nearthedoorpocket,itmaybedetectedbytheantennaoutsidethecaranddoorlockfromoutside
thecarmaybepossibledependingontheradiowavecondition,andtheelectronickeyisinsidethe
car.Becarefulasyoumaybetrapped.
●Aslongastheelectronickeyiswithintheoperatingrange,itcanbelockedandunlockedbyanyoneotherthanthe
personcarryingtheelectronickey.However,itcanonlybeunlockedatthedoorthatdetectstheelectronickey.
●Iftheelectronickeyiswithintheoperatingrange,thedoormaybeunlockedifthedoorhandleisexposedto
alargeamountofwaterduetoacarwashorheavyrain.(Ifthedoorisnotopenedandclosed,itwillbe
lockedautomaticallyafterabout30seconds.)
●Ifyoulocktheelectronickeywithawirelessremotecontrollerwhenitiscloseto
thevehicle,youmaynotbeabletounlockitwiththesmartentry&startsystem.

■Precautionswhenlocking
●Ifyouwearglovesandtouchthelocksensor,lockingmaybedelayedor
unlocked.Inthatcase,removetheglovesandtouchthelocksensor.
●Thelockingoperationisvalidupto2timesinarow,andthelockingoperationdoesnotoperateafterthe3rdtime.
●Ifyoucarryanelectronickeyandsplashwateronthedoorhandletowashthecar,the
locking/unlockingoperationmayberepeated.Inthatcase,storetheelectronickeyat
least2mawayfromthevehicleandwashthecar.(Becarefuloftheftofelectronickeys)
