5-2. Emergency measures
When overheated
When overheated:
Park your car in a safe place and turn off the air conditioner
Check if steam is coming out of the engine room
If steam is coming out:
Stop the engine. When steam stops, carefully open the
bonnet and restart the engine.
If there is no steam:
Carefully open the hood with the engine running
Make sure the radiator cooling fan is working
If the fan is running:
Stop the engine after the high water temperature warning light goes out
If the fan is not working:
Immediately stop the engine and contact your Toyota dealer
After the engine has cooled sufficiently
Amount of cooling water and radiator core
Point the cooling water leak of the part (heat dissipation part)
To inspect

Vehicles with 1KR-FE / 1NR-FE engine
If there is not enough cooling water
Replenish cooling water
If there is no cooling water, first aid
Please replenish the water.
