■About refueling
Be sure to observe the following when refueling.
Failure to observe can result in serious injury or, in the worst case, death.

●Touch metal parts such as the body to remove static electricity from your body. If you do
not remove it, sparks from electric discharge may ignite the fuel.

●When you loosen the cap If you hear a "shoe" sound, the sound stops
Then open slowly
When opening the cap, hold the knob part of the cap and open it slowly. If you do
not open it slowly, fuel may spurt out from the fuel filler port when the temperature
is high.
●Keep people who have not removed static electricity away from the filler port
●Avoid inhaling vaporized fuel
Some fuel components contain harmful substances.
●Do not smoke
It may catch fire and cause a fire.
●Do not return to the car or touch people who have not removed static electricity or charged objects.
There is a possibility of recharging.
■Precautions when refueling
●When refueling, be sure to insert the nozzle into the refueling port. If the nozzle is
floated and refueling is performed, the auto stop will not operate and fuel may
spill.
●If you are unable to refuel normally, call the staff at the stand and follow the instructions.
■Warning when replacing the cap
Do not use caps other than genuine Toyota products. If you do not use genuine
products, it may cause a fire, resulting in serious injury or, in the worst case,
death.
