Symptoms Problem Remedy
No power output and no warning Unit is Off, or battery voltage Turn unit On, check the battery voltage,
LED’s is too low fuses, or breakers and cable connections
No power output and LED Load too small for search mode Reduce search threshold
indicator is flashing green circuit to detect or defeat search mode
No power output and warning Low battery voltage = 1 flash Check the battery voltage at
LED flashes red High battery voltage = 2 flash the inverter’s terminals
High ambient temperature =3 flash
Power output is low and inverter Low battery Check condition of
turns loads on and off batteries and recharge
Loose or corroded battery Check and clean all
connections connections
Loose AC output connections Check all AC output connections
Inverter clicks every 20 seconds Output of inverter wired Check for proper AC
LED is solid green back to its own input input & output wiring
Charger is inoperative AC input voltage does not Check AC input for proper voltage
match inverter spec and frequency for your model
Charger controls improperly set Refer to owner’s manual for proper
setting
LED flashing red 4 times Charger Fault has occurred. Have inverter serviced
Low charge rate Low peak AC input voltage Use larger generator, speed up generator
(164 volts peak required for check AC input wiring
full charger output) cable too small or too long
adjust charge rate,
AC current output of generator Reduce charge amps setting
too small to handle load or reduce passthrough loads
Low AC output voltage Measuring with the wrong type Voltmeter must be a true RMS
voltmeter (displays 80-100VAC) reading meter (most are not).
Low surge power Weak batteries, battery cables Refer to cable and battery
too small or too long recommendations in owner’s manual
