AppendixHow to Manually Configure a BlueTOAD Spectra RSU
TrafficCast Quick StartBlueTOAD Spectra and Spectra RSU
Revision 02 May 2019 5-3
7. Double-Click the startup.sh file to Open. This will setup the network configuration for the RSU.
a. Scroll to export SCOIPADDRESS=192.168.1.76
Important: To be able to access the RSU in the future, make sure you keep a record of this
IP address! If you do NOT know the IP address, you will NOT be able to access the RSU,
and thus will have to perform a hard reset of the device!
b. Scroll to “Command”: route add -net 52.39.79.127 192.168.1.1
This adds a Static network route or bridge for remote communication with the RSU. This is
used by TrafficCast to forward SPaT, MAP and BSM messages to our Cloud.
How to Upload a MAP File
1. From the root directory, navigate to /mnt/microsd/I2V/amh.
2. Drag and drop the MAP file (map16_0x8002_intersectionID.txt) that was created for the RSU’s
intersection from your local drive to the amh folder.
Note: ONLY one (1) MAP (map16_0x8002_intersectionID.txt) file is allowed in the amh folder.
