9.2.4 Re-tensioning of belts
Moving the motor away from the fan does the tensioning of the belt.
Depending on the size of the motor is this:
- On a rocker swivel
- On rails slidably mounted.
Loosening the lock nut and then turning the adjustment screws make the adjustment. It is
important to maintain the alignment of the discs accordingly Figure 134 and Table 11. This
should be checked after each tensioning with a straight edge.

For quick results at the pulley alignment for factory mounted pulleys we recommend to set
the same thread overhang of the threaded rods on the left and right side Figure 135.
