System Testing & Troubleshooting
Velocity Pressure Sensor
Failure (Front or Back)
Problem: The Velocity
pressure voltage input is out
of range.
Check wiring from VCM and
sensor.
The Velocity pressure voltage
input is out of range. During
the calibration cycle if the
voltage is less than 40mV or
greater than 420 mV. During
Operational time if the Voltage
is less than 40mV or greater
than 0.75V. Time to react is
greater than 10 seconds but
less than 20 seconds.
Minimum air flow and Demand
Control Ventilation functions
revert to OA Damper Min
Position DCV functionality.
Economizer Min. Pos. reverts
to the position provided by the
OA Damper Min Position DCV
function.
(PAR) An automatic reset
occurs after the Velocity
Pressure input returns to
within range continuously for
10 seconds.
VOM Communications
Failure
Problem: The RTM has lost
communications with the
VOM.
Verify: Check field/unit wiring
between RTM and VOM.
The RTM has lost
communications with the
VOM.
Ventilation override actions
will not be allowed, and the VO
Output relay will be de
energized.
(PAR) An automatic reset
occurs after communication
has been restored.
