  If CPR1 and ODM1 on your Trane Air Conditioner aren't operating, the issue might stem from: * **No power to CC1 coil:** Check the wiring, terminals, and applicable controls (CCB1, HPC1, TDL1, WTL1, LPC1). * **Defective CC1 coil:** Inspect the CC1 coil. If it's open or shorted, replace CC1. * **Defective CC1 contacts:** If 24 VAC is present at the CC1 coil, verify contact closure. * **Defective RTRM:** If 24 VAC is not present at the CC1 coil, reset the Cool Failure by cycling the main power disconnect switch. Verify the system MODE is set for cooling operation. If no controls have opened, and CC1 will not close, replace RTRM. * **LPC1 has tripped:** Conduct a leak check, repair, evacuate, and recharge as needed. Also, check the LPC1 operation.

Check resistance between P8-1 and P8-2, refer to the Resistance versus Temperature chart. Replace the sensor if necessary. * **Failed Frostat™:** Check Frostat Switch.

If the fan operates in the test mode, test the ZSM using the appropriate test procedures. * **Defective RTRM:** Check the RTRM fan output. Locate P2-1 on the RTRM. Measure voltage to ground. If 24 VAC is not present on a call for fan, replace the RTRM. * **Supply Fan Proving (FFS) switch has opened:** Check FFS and belts, repair or replace if necessary.

  If ODM 3 and/or 4 aren't cycling on your Trane Air Conditioner, here's what to check: * **OAS failure:** Perform an OAS Resistance/Temperature check and replace if necessary. * **ODM3 and/or 4 capacitor failure:** Check the ODM capacitor and replace if needed. * **Wiring, terminal, or CC2 contactor failure:** Inspect the wires, terminals, and CC2. Repair or replace any faulty components. * **ODM3 and/or 4 failure:** Check the ODM and replace if necessary. * **Defective RTRM:** Replace the RTRM module. * **ODF20 failure:** Check for proper voltage and contact closure. The ODF20 relay has a 24 VAC holding coil. If voltage is present, replace the relay.

  If the minimum position on your Trane Air Conditioner economizer is at zero and cannot be adjusted, even though it still modulates, consider these causes: * **Remote Minimum position potentiometer has failed:** With the main power off, check the resistance between terminals P and P1 at the ECA by rotating the remote minimum position potentiometer knob. Resistance should be 50 to 200 Ohms. * **Minimum position potentiometer has failed:** Rotate the onboard minimum position potentiometer knob. If the ECA does not drive to a different minimum position, replace the ECA.
