General Information
Note:
An audible click can be heard when
the seat lock is engaged.
Press firmly down in the centre of the seat to
engage the seat lock.
Refit the pillion seat (see page 41 ).
Windscreen (if fitted)
Note:
The windscreen can be removed
without the use of tools.
To Remove the Windscreen
1. Upper mounting
2. Lower mounting
3. Latch
To remove the windscreen, stand astride the
front wheel and firmly grip both sides of the
windscreen close to the upper mounting.
Pull the windscreen firmly to disengage the
upper mountings.
Then lift the windscreen up to disengage the
lower mountings and completely remove
from the motorcycle.
Warning
To prevent detachment of the seat during
riding, after fitting always grasp the seat
and pull firmly upwards. If the seat is not
correctly secured it may detach from the
motorcycle. A loose or detached seat could
cause loss of motorcycle control and an
accident.
