Chapter 6: Plumbing
Freshwater System (If Equipped)
• Your boat may be equipped
with a pressure type
(demand) freshwater
(potable) system.
• Turn On the water pump
switch to pressurize the sys-
tem (See the Component
Locations section of this
Supplement for the location
of the water pump switch).
• Turn Off the water pump
switch when the water tank
is empty or when the boat is
not in use.
• Inspect and clean the water
filter often (located on the
water pump).
• When your boat is to be left
unattended for long periods
of time, pump the water
tank dry to prevent stored
water from becoming stag-
nant and distasteful.
• If the freshwater system
needs to be disinfected, ask
your dealer about treat-
ments available for your
boat’s system.
