Troubleshooting guide
Fault Cause Remedy
After switching on
no LED lights up.
– No operating voltage.
– Device fuse or vehicle fuse
defective.
– Check 12 V / 24 V battery voltage,
charge battery if necessary.
– Check all electrical plug connections.
– Check fuse of device or vehicle and replace if necessary
(see fuses)
After switching on the
greenLED lights up,but the
heater is not running.
– The temperature setting on
the control panel is lower
than the room temperature
– Select higher room temperature at the control panel.
Red LED flashes 1x per sec.
Red LED flashes 3x per sec.
– Open window above cowl
(window switch).
– Undervoltage range
12 V: 10.9 V – 10.5 V,
24 V: 21.8 V – 20.7 V.
– Overvoltage range
12 V: 15.8 V – 16.4 V,
24 V: 31.8 V – 33.1 V.
– Close window.
– Charge battery.
– Check battery voltage and voltage sources such as the
charger.
Approx. 30 sec. after the
heater is switched on, the
red LED comes on.
– Valves in gas supply line
closed.
– Combustion air intake or
exhaust outlet is sealed.
– Check gas supply and open valves.
– Remove the cowl cover.
– Inspect openings for contamination (slush, ice, leaves, etc.)
and remove contamination if necessary.
After operating for a longer
period of time, the heater
switches to failure.
– Warm air outlets blocked.
– Circulated air intake
blocked.
– Inspect individual outlet openings.
– Remove blockage from circulated air intake.
