F
ault C
ode Descriptions
F
ault codes are logged in a fault counter (page
15) for tr
oubleshooting. Upon completing the
ser
vice call and r
estoring successful operation of
the o
v
en, the technician should clear all faults
(see page 20).
F1: Blower Failure
This fault is display
ed if for thr
ee consecutiv
e
times the control board does not receive the
“status OK” signal from the BMSC.
The fault is cleared from the display if the
blowers successfully restart upon starting a cook
cy
cle or in TEST MODE.
F2: Low Temp During Cook
The o
v
en will emit a beeping noise and display
this fault if the cook cavity temperatur
e falls
25°F (14°C) below the current cooking profile’s
set temperature, and the fault will be logged in
the fault counter.
The fault is clear
ed fr
om the fault display if the
cook cavity temperature returns to within 25°F
(14°C) of the set cooking temperatur
e during
cooking or in
TEST MODE.
F4: Emergency Stop
This fault is displayed when the emergency stop
key is pr
essed.
This fault acts as a counter that logs ho
w many
times the emergency stop key (page 9) has been
pr
essed.
The fault is cleared from the display once the
o
ven is restarted.
F5: C
C Over Temp
This fault is display
ed if the cook cavity’s tem-
perature reaches or exceeds 625°F (329.4°C).
The fault is clear
ed from the display once the
o
v
en is restarted and the temperature recedes
belo
w 625°F (329.4°C).
F6: EC Over Temp
This fault is displayed if the temperature within
the electrical compar
tment reaches 149°F
(65°C); however, the oven will not shut down
and the fault will not be logged in the fault
count log unless it reaches 158°F (70°C).
The fault is cleared from the display when the
electrical compartment temperature recedes
belo
w 149°F (65°C).
F7: RTD Failure
This fault is display
ed if the R
TD cir
cuit is
open, shorted, reads above 645°F (340.5°C), or
reads below -40°F (-40°C).
The fault is cleared from the display if the RTD
circuit is closed, or the temperature reads within
645°F (340.5°C) and -40°F (-40°C)
F8: H
igh Limit
Tripped
This fault is display
ed if the high limit switch
trips.
The switch trips when the high limit
probe reads approximately 600°F (315.5°C).
The fault is cleared from the display when the
high limit switch is manually r
eset.
F9: Belt Fault
This fault occurs if the conveyor belt fails to
star
t or the conveyor is dragging.
The fault is cleared from the display if the
conv
eyor belt starts when initiating cooking.
