  If the fuses or earth fault breaker in the distribution board trip as soon as the Tylo Heater is switched on, or during operation, it could be due to several reasons. If the heater hasn't been used for a long period, causing an insulation fault in the tubular elements, do not use the heater. Switch it off and disconnect the heater fuses on the main switchboard. If too much water has been poured on the heater, do not use the heater. Switch the heater off and disconnect the heater fuses on the main switchboard.

  If your Tylo Heater is on but not creating steam, and the water isn't boiling, ensure the steam function is selected by turning the dial. Also, check if there's enough water in the reservoir; add water until the black button rises up. Finally, the water reservoir temperature cut-out may have activated; if so, reset it.

  If one of the heater elements in the stone compartment of your Tylo Heater isn't heating up, it could be normal. If the water reservoir is in operation, only one heater element can operate at the same time to prevent excessive current draw, so the front heating element is heated. Also, in large rooms or rooms with hard materials, a safety thermostat may switch off one of the heaters temporarily to prevent overheating, so the rear heating element is heated.

  Your Tylo Heater might not be working because the thermostat isn't set high enough; try raising the thermostat setting. The timer might not be in the ON range, so increase the time setting, but not beyond 3 hours. Also, check if the fuses in the distribution board have blown or tripped and replace or reset them if needed. Finally, the internal temperature cut-out may have activated; check and fix the cause, then reset the temperature cut-out by pressing the red button underneath the cover plug on the front of the heater.
