The heater is not working. 1. Thermostat is not set high enough.
2. Timer is not in the range corresponding
to ON.
3. Fuses in the distribution board have
blown/tripped.

than 3 hours.

re cut-out. There is a red button underne-
athacoverplugonthefrontoftheheater,

One of the heater elements in the sto-
ne compartment does not heat up.
1. Isthewaterreservoirinoperation?Only
one heater element can operate at the
sametimeasthewaterreservoir,soasto
prevent excessive current being drawn.
2. Iftheroomislargeorcontainsveryhardma-
terialssuchastilesorglass,itwilltakealong
time to reach the maximum temperature and
asafetythermostatwillswitchooneofthe
heaters for a while to prevent overheating.

The heater is on but does not create
steam,waterdoesnotboil.
1. Steam function has not been selected.
2. Not enough water in the reservoir.
3. Water reservoir temperature cut-out has
been activated.

1. Turn the dial for the steam function
(seeFigure5).
2. Add water until the black button rises up.
3. Reset temperature cut-out. For more in-
formation,seetheTemperaturecut-out
section(seeFigure8).Ifsteamfunction
doesnotworkafterresetting,heater
elementinreservoirmaybedamaged.
4. An authorised electrician is required to
ndthefault.
Fuses/earthfaultbreakerinthedistri-
bution board trip as soon as the heater
isswitchedon,orduringoperation.
1. The heater has not been used for a long
period,causinganinsulationfaultinthe
tubular elements.
2. ThereisashortcircuitattheheaterGND,
whichcouldbecausedbyafaultyheater
element.
3. Heater has had too much water poured on it.
Do not use the heater. Switch the heater
oanddisconnecttheheaterfusesonthe
main switchboard. An authorised electrician
isrequiredtondthefault.

Temperature cut-out devices
The heater has several temperature cut-out devices:
• Heater - The temperature cut-out in the heater is designed to pro-
tectthecomponents,tubularelementsandwoodworkinthesauna
fromoverheating.Onthefrontoftheheater,underablackcover
plugtotherightofthethermostatdial,isaredresetbuttonwhich
mustbepressedin(seeFigure8).Ifthecut-outhasactivated,the
buttonwillfeelstiandwillclickwhenreset.Ifthecut-outhasnot
activatedandafterresetting,thebuttonwillfeelspringy.
• Water reservoir - The temperature cut-out in the reservoir is
designedtoprotecttheheaterelementfromboilingdry.There
is a red reset button under the heater which must be pressed in
(seeFigure8).Ifthecut-outhasactivated,thebuttonwillfeelsti
and will click when reset. If the cut-out has not activated and after
resetting,thebuttonwillfeelspringy.
Information!
Whentheoverheatingcut-outactivates,alwayscheckthecause
of the problem. The service life of the tubular elements can be
adverselyeectedbyeachoverheating.Recurrentoverheating
canbeanindicationofthefollowing:faultyventilation,excessive
roomvolume(heaterisinadequateforroom,e.g.iftherearetoo
manyhardmaterialssuchastilesorglass),internalheaterfault,
waterreservoirnotproperlycleaned.
