Permission
Unlike the Administrator who has complete control of all system functions, permission can be assigned to other users or
revoked to access DVR functions. To modify permission, select the required user from the list, press [Permission] to open
the following page:
[Admin] is authorized to set common user’s authority.
• Log Search: allow you check the entire system log.
• Parameter: allow you set all the parameters.
• Maintain: allow you update version, recover ex-factory value, device reboot and shut down.
• Manual record: allow you manually start/stop record.
• Disk Manage: allow you manage and control the HDDs.
• Remote Login: allow you remote login DVR.
• SEQence Control: allow you to rotate live screens for all the channels.
• Manual Capture: allow you to get a camera capture for all the channels.
• Backup: Tick-select the option, the user is allowed to backup the record for the selected channels.
• Live: Tick-select the option and the user is allowed to view all the live images for the selected channels.
• Playback: Tick-select the option and the user is allowed to playback the record for the selected channels.
• PTZ control: Tick-select the option and the user is allowed to perform the PTZ operation for the selected
channel.
3.7.2 INFORMATION
Click on the Info item in the side menu to open a page listing all system information.
The first group contains the following information: Device name, Device ID, Device type, Device S/N, MAC address, IE
Client version, Hardware version, Firmware Version, and so on.
