General Guidelines
How you choose to install and use your
Strantrol
®
Controller depends in part on your
needs and specific applications. This manual
offers a general guideline that is suitable for the
majority of users. As an overview, we suggest that
you first mount the components, i.e., the
Controller, Flowcell, HRR sensor, pH sensor and
Temperature sensor. Then plumb the sample
stream, open valves and test for leaks. Finally,
wire everything properly and program the
controller. The System5 contains four relays that
may be configured for pH Control (acid/base),
Chlorine/Bromine Control, Sensor Wash,
Temperature Control, Alarm, Booster Pump,
Superchlor, and Dechlor/Ozone. The System5
also has optional 4-20mA Recorder outputs.
