6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning AP10
• Lint-free cloth
• Isopropyl alcohol (70%)
Do not spray anything directly on the AP10.
1. Moisten some lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol (70%).
2. Wipe the access point and its antenna.
6.2
Updating AP10 Firmware
• Computer with a supported web browser (Google Chrome™, Microsoftâ
Internet Explorerâ 11, or Microsoft Edge
™
)
• AP10 firmware update file from Vaisala
All data loggers that are currently connected to this access point will lose
connection. They will automatically rejoin the system, but their connection to
viewLinc Enterprise Server will be temporarily interrupted.
1. Before starting the firmware update, restart the AP10:
a. Log in to the web interface of the AP10. See Accessing the Web Interface (page 25).
b. Select > AP10 Maintenance > Restart and Reset > Restart > Restart.
2. Wait for the restart to complete and log in again to the web interface.
3. Select AP10 Maintenance > Firmware Update.
4. Check the currently installed
firmware version. If the version of your update file is higher
than the installed version, continue with the update.
5. Select Browse and locate the firmware file on your computer.
