4. Select the output parameter (TMD62: only T available).
(HDM62 only) Using Insight, you can set both HMD62 analog output
channels to output only either RH or T if needed (default: RH+T).
5. Enter the lower and upper limits of the output scale for your selected parameter.
HMD62 only: Note that if you switch the output parameter with the DIP
switches on the transmitter CB, the parameter selected with the DIP switch
uses the default output scaling instead of the configuration set with Insight.
6. Set the error output value and the output clipping and error limits.
7. Select Save to store the configuration and exit the menu with Close when done.
5.4.1 Testing and Adjusting Analog Output Current (mA) Level
• Computer with Windows operating system and Vaisala Insight software
installed
• Vaisala USB cable 219690 for connecting the probe
• A multimeter for checking the analog output reading (connect in series to
measure the current output)
Note that configuring these settings requires using Insight in Advanced Mode.
You can test the current (mA) output level of the transmitter with a multimeter, and adjust the
output level (2-point adjustment) if necessary.
