• If using the full length of supplied refrigerant hose you will require 2.8 lbs (Pluto unit) or
4.2 lbs (Pluto+ unit) of R134a refrigerant. For each complete foot of hose either added or
subtracted from the supplied length the amount of refrigerant charge should be added or
subtracted at a rate of 0.033lbs/ft (ie. if a hose is cut by 5 feet reduce charge by 0.1lbs)
• The compressor should be pre-charged so no additional oil is required
Note: if you are buying an aftermarket compressor or refurbished you should ensure there is
oil and add to manufacturers recommended amount
