If the machine is not to be used for a long period of time, carry out the following
operations:
• Carry out the maintenance operations.
• Close the water supply tap upstream of the machine.
• Dispense one coffee from each unit without mounting the filter holder so as to
remove the water from the units.
• Disconnect the water and power supply.
• Drain the water contained in the boiler as follows:
WARNING: Before carrying out this operation, make sure that the
coffee machine is off (power supply upstream of the machine
disconnected), that the water supply tap upstream of the machine is
closed and that the water contained in the boiler is cold.
• Remove the grille (1) and the drip tray.
• Disconnect the tube (2) from the water drain (3).
• Remove the boiler drain cap (4) and connect the tube (3) in order to drain out
all the water.
• Refit the cap (4) and reconnect the drain tube (3).
• Cover the machine with a cotton cloth and place it in a room free of dust and
humidity.

PUTTING THE MACHINE BACK INTO SERVICE.
To put the machine back into service operate as follows:
• Thoroughly clean the machine.
• Dispense water from the shut-off tap located upstream of the machine to
remove residues from the tubing.
• Clean or replace the filters installed upstream of the machine.
• Carry out the starting operations as described in the relative paragraph.
