6 Console Troubleshooting TLS-450PLUS Troubleshooting Guide
No Connection To
Ethernet Port
Cable is plugged into the wrong
port.
Verify Ethernet cables are plugged into correct
port(s) on the bottom of the console (ref. Slot 4 in
Figure 2-10 on page 2-9 ).
Cable is not properly connected to
CPU board.
Open Printer door. Verify that the Slot 4 Ethernet
Interface module cables are properly connected to
the CPU board connectors:
Ethernet communication settings,
such as, IP Address type, IP
Address, etc.
1. Verify Ethernet communication settings are cor-
rect.
2. Check if Ethernet port’s Link and Activities LEDs
are flashing:
3. Try to communicate to the maintenance IP
address: 169.254.21.12
Bad cable. Verify if cable is bad.
Defective Ethernet signal source. Verify Ethernet signal source, e.g. hub or switch.
Bad Ethernet comm module. Replace Ethernet Interface module.
Bad CPU board. Replace CPU board.
