6 Set up with the display and adjustment module

In menu item "Scaling unit" you dene the scaling variable and the
scaling unit for the pulse rate on the display, e.g. volume in percent.
In menu item "Scaling" you dene the scaling format on the display
and the scaling of the measured values for 0 % and 100 %.

To damp process-dependent measured value uctuations, you can
set a time of 0 … 999 s in this menu item.
The default setting is a damping of 0 s.
In the menu item "Lock/unlock adjustment", you can protect the sen-
sor parameters against unauthorized or inadvertent modication. The
sensor is locked/unlocked permanently.
With locked instrument, only the following adjustment functions are
possible without entering a PIN:

Select menu items and show data
•
Read data from the sensor into the display and adjustment mod-
ule.
Before you lock the sensor in unlocked condition, you can modify the
four-digit PIN number.
Keep the entered PIN number in mind. Operation of the sensor is only
possible with this PIN number.
