3. Remove the lag boltsfrom eachbracket located around the base, and remove the brackets.
4. Lift the unit off the skid to an elevationpoint where the skid is not supporting the weight of the unit and remove
the skid from under the unit.

3.3.2 Removing the Unit from theSkid Using Rigging
1. Use the center-of-gravity indicators onthe unit panels todetermine the position of the slings.
• The slings shall be equally-spaced oneither side of the center-of-gravity indicator
2. Place the slings and betweenthe bottom rails of the unit and the skid as shown inFigure 4.4 onthe facing
page.
NOTE: Unit is shown without packaging. These instructions may be followed with or without the outer
packaging in place.
