Chapter 3 Web Interface of RDU501
RDU501 Intelligent Monitoring Unit User Manual
If statistics A and B are configured, then PUE=(A+B)/A;
If statistics A and C are configured, then PUE=C/A;
If statistics B and C are configured, then PUE=C/(C-B);
Wherein, each energy type can be configured with up to 16 signals, and each signal can be selected with an addition
and subtraction operator. The values of A, B, and C are the arithmetic sums of the signal values they configure,
respectively.
2)
Power mode or electric energy mode.
Power mode
In the power mode, useing real-time PUE, the system will calculate the instantaneous value of the device power in
real time and calculate the PUE value. E.g:
The statistical IT equipment power is 8kW, and the total power of all equipment is 10kW. Then the PUE is: 10 / 8 =
1.25
Electric energy mode
In the electric energy mode, the system will count the energy value used by the device during the time interval at
04:00/12:00/20:00 on the current day, and calculate the PUE value during the time period, for example:
The energy value at 04:00 is: IT equipment power is 28kWh, and the total power of all equipment is 62kWh;
The energy value at 12:00 is: IT equipment power is 36kWh, and the total power of all equipment is 72kWh;
The PUE for the period 04:00 to 12:00 is: (72 - 62) / (36 - 28) = 10 / 8 = 1.25.
Note
1.
On the day when the user performs energy consumption statistics configuration, the system calculates the number of times and
statistic value from the time of configuration to 00:00:00 on the next day, and uses the average value as the PUE value of the
configuration day.
2.
If the Power Mode is selected, the power signal needs to be selected. If the Electric Energy Mode is selected, the electric
energy signal needs to be selected for the electric energy consumption of the device.
2. System load percentage setting
The user can configure the real-time power data signal and the rated power calculation system load percentage. The
rules are as follows:
System load percentage = real-time power / rated power
Wherein: Real-time power is the sum of all power signals in the list of real-time power data signals on the page.
Note
Up to 16 real-time power signals can be configured in the real-time power setting.
3.4.6 Data Management
The Data Management function provides users with various types of historical data and log data query services.
In the RDU501 home page, click the Data Management menu on the left to display 7 submenus, including: active
alarm, historical alarm, device data, historical data, Smart report, log data, and clear data.
Active alarm
Click the Active alarm submenu under the Data management menu to pop up the current alarm display list, as
shown in Figure 3-67.
