Safety Cord Installation
12. Lift the SurveyorVFT camera drive up to the housing and
attach the housing’s safety cord clip to the camera drive’s
tab. See Figure 13. Allow the drive to hang from the
housing. Insert the clip of the safety cord from the lower
dome into the hole on the inside of the housing. See label
inside housing.
13. Align the tabs on the camera drive with the slots in the
housing, matching up the arrows on the camera drive and
the housing.
14. Push the camera drive straight up into the housing until it
snaps into the housing. Do not use excessive force. In the
event that it does not snap easily, remove the SurveyorVFT
and verify proper cabling.
15. Holding the lower dome, line up the 2 molded tabs on the
lower dome with the 2 parallel surfaces on the housing.
Push the lower dome up and verify that it snaps into place
on both sides. See Figure 14.
