11. FORPNEUMATIC(DRYPILOT)RELEASESYSTEMS: Open the
slow-fill ball valve on the AMTA. NOTE: Failure to leave the slow-
fill ball valve open may allow system pressure to drop, resulting in
valve operation in the event of a system leak.
12. Open the diaphragm-charge-line ball valve. Allow water to flow
through the Auto Drain tube.
12a.FORELECTRICRELEASESYSTEMS: Make sure no water
flows through the solenoid.
13. Open the manual pull station to bleed off any air that is present.
14. Close the manual pull station.
15. Pull up on the Auto Drain Sleeve until the screw is in the set
(“UP”) position. Verify that there is pressure on the gauge to the
diaphragm charge line.
16. When the diaphragm charge line is pressurized, temporarily close
the diaphragm-charge-line ball valve. Confirm that the diaphragm
charge line is maintaining pressure by observing the diaphragm-
charge-line pressure gauge.
