4 WAY VIDEO ISOLATION PCBS (316I & 894I)
The 316I (For balanced video systems) and the 894I (For coax video systems) are designed to piggyback
the 2204N isolation PCB but can also be used standalone. The PCB’s can each feed up to four apartments
with video signal and videophone/monitor power. Each output is isolated to protect against short circuits. A
fault LED (RED) next to each output will illuminate when the 20Vdc supply to an apartment is in short or an
over current situation. The PCB’s can be mounted either in a control cabinet in a bus configuration or
dispersed throughout a building as landing units. All connections are plug type for easy maintenance.
316I JUMPERS
The 316I has two ‘end off line’ jumper plugs which should be in the closed position on the last 316I and open
on all others.
894I JUMPERS
The 894I has a jumper plug for each of the four outputs which should be in the open position if that output
has a videophone connected and in the closed position if the output is not used. Additionally there is a fifth
jumper plug labelled EOL (End of line) which should be in the closed position on the last 894I and open on
all others.
NOTE: Incorrect fitting of jumper plugs will degrade the video quality
