Installation Instructions

This boiler is designed for closed loop,
forced circulation heating systems only.
1. Flush heating system thoroughly
(particularly with existing sys tems
which have been in operation for
years).
2. Connect heating circuits to
and
using 2 x 1

/
2
reducer fitting and
NPT adaptor pictured below.
Do not connect the sy s tem return to
the safety return.
3. Connect the DHW tank return to the
safety return connection
(if
applicable); use reducer. adaptor and
gaskets pictured below.
See installat ion examples in following
section.
We recommend the installation of a
spring-loaded flow-check valve in
heating circuits without mixing valv es.
This serves to avoid uncontrolled
gravity circulation of heat into the
heating syst em during prioritized DHW
production, or during summer months.

Failure to flush the heating system
could cause system sludge to settle
in the boiler, causing overheating and
failure. This type of failure is not
covered under warranty.
