• Place the lens on the lens support with convex side up.
Note: if you are dealing with a soft contact lens, make sure to remove moisture from the surface with a cloth
before putting it on the lens support
• Hold the contact lens with tweezers. Make sure not to crush the lens with lens pressing device.
6.4 How do I measure single vision lenses?
• Select the Lens mode by pressing the Lens Mode button v
• Select the lens type: single vision or auto by pressing the Measurement mode
button, in the toolbar at the bottom left of the screen.
• If necessary, specify the lens side: go to the Lens tab of the Configuration screen and select the
automatic mode, R/L. The unit will therefore identify the first measured lens as the right one and the
second as the left one.
Note: if the lens side is specified after measurement, the measured data will be cleared
• Align the lens, by moving the lens target to the center of the alignment circle.
Note: If you measure framed lenses, make sure the frame touches the lens table.
