10.1 Troubleshooting
• Intake flow breaks away after start
• Irregular pump delivery
• Power consumption too high
• Pressure and level variations in the buffer chamber
• Leakage at the mechanical seal
• Extreme pressure and level changes in the buffer
chamber
• With a dry buffer chamber:
buffer chamber tank more than half full

Fill the pump with fluid.
Incorrect direction of rotation
Change the pump's direction of rotation.
Pipe causing pump housing
warping
Check the orientation of the pipe to the pump.
If necessary, provide a compensator or secure the
pipe.
Leakage in the suction pipe
Check the suction-side pipe system for leakage.
Vent the suction pipe and pump chamber, top up
fluid.
Check the free flow of the pipe system on the
suction side.
Clean the pump unit. Install strainer in the suction
pipe.

Increase the suction pipe diameter, shorten the
suction pipe length, simplify suction pipe assembly,
reduce the suction height, reduce the speed, adjust
the medium temperature.
Tighten in accordance with manufacturer's
