9.2.4Pipelinesandange
• Pipelines must be installed without voltage! If necessary, pipelines may have to
be supported or hung.
• Carefully clean the pipelines and screws before assembly.
• Suction pipings must be sealed.
Air that has been drawn in can lead to malfunctions and damage the pump.
The sealant must not come into contact with the pressure uid or the radial shaft
sealing ring.
• When using hydraulic pipes, note the relevant DIN standards, and the
manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Only use anges approved by Voith Turbo H + L Hydraulic. (pump catalog)
• Tighten the ange unstressed on the connection face of the pump using the
screws and torques indicated.
• Tighten the pipelines to the ange or the pump unstressed.
