Preparation
• Assemble the coupling parts without
unnecessary force (i.e. without
knocks or pressing). Use the thread
tapped hole in the shaft end.
• Check that the direction of rotation of
the drive and the pump match.
• Note the arrow indicating the direc-
tion of rotation on the pump housing
or the rating plate.
• Attach the pump and ensure there
are no axial or transverse forces
acting on the drive (coupling direc-
tion).
• Remove the core plugs on the pump.
• Prell the pump with operating uid
via the suction port.
• Relieve the delivery pipe, set the
directional control valve and/or pres-
sure limiting valve to unpressurized
circulation (note the charging pressu-
re through any existing check valves).
• Pipelines must be leak-proof.
• Delivery pipes must not be lled with
operating uid.
