Draining the Engine
Engine installations in boats and ships have a poten-
tially negative impact on the environment. The fluids
handled are harmful to the environment and must be
handled in a safe manner.
Oil drain pump
An electrical oil drain pump is available as an acces-
sory.
The pump is installed in a suitable location using
a bracket. Pump direction may be changed by switch-
ing polarity.
Oil hoses
Oil hoses should have a shut-off tap or only be con-
nected at oil changes in order to avoid the risk of inad-
vertent drainage.
Viscosity
Select the viscosity according to the table.
The temperature values refer to stable ambient tem-
peratures.
* SAE 5W/30 refers to synthetic or semi-synthetic oils.
