Install
tanks and clamp lines securely close to the bot-
tom of the boat to avoid heat radiation.
IMPORTANT!
Pipes should be of material that is corrosion resistant
in a marine environment.
Rubber hoses
The illustration shows the most common type of fuel
line connections. Check that the correct sizes of
approved hoses are used.
Refer to the table below for required minimum internal
rubber hose diameter.
Diameter, feed line 10 mm (3/8")
Diameter, return line 10 mm (3/8")
Max suction height 2.0 m (6.5 ft.)
NOTICE! Some classification societies and other
authorities do not allow rubber hoses as fuel lines, or
require such hoses to meet certain specifications.
Check to see if the boat will be used in such areas.
Fasten the fuel lines using clamps. Distance between
clamps: approx. 300 mm (11.8").
