Install the batteries in a box with a tight-fitting lid. Ven-
tilate the box with 25 mm (1”) hoses (1). The ventila-
tion hoses must lead to the outside of the boat in order
to release the flammable gas the batteries produce.
The batteries must be secured and may only move
max. 10 mm (3/8").
WARNING!
Risk
of fire and explosion. Never allow an open flame
or electric sparks near the battery or batteries.
Batteries that are not sealed may only be installed in
the engine compartment if they are in a separate,
sealed and well-ventilated battery box. Battery gas is
highly inflammable and extremely volatile.
