Fault Possible cause and solutions
The LED display lights up yellow when
the cordless vacuum cleaner is on.
The premium lter bag may be full.
• Insert a new premium lter bag as described in chapter
“5.2.1 Replacing the Kobold FP100
Premium Filter Bag” on page 30.
The carpet may be too dense.
• Try vacuuming a dierent oor and check the LED dis-
play again.
• Try vacuuming on a lower suction power level.
The suction channels may be blocked.
• Check and clean the suction channels.
The LED display on the cordless
vacuum cleaner ashes red.
• Contact your Vorwerk Customer Service Centre (see
chapter “9 Service” on page 44).
The charging process takes too long
or the cordless vacuum cleaner does
not start aer a short charge.
High temperatures can slow down the charging process.
• Do not charge the device or the individual battery pack
(when removed from the cordless vacuum cleaner) in
the sun.
Charging may take longer aer intensive use of the cord-
less vacuum cleaner or at high temperatures. The charging
process can be accelerated by removing the battery pack
from the device and charging it directly on the AC charger.
Transport mode cannot be switched
on.
Your cordless vacuum cleaner may already be connected
to the power supply and fully charged. If this is the case,
the LEDs will no longer be lit.
• Disconnect your cordless vacuum cleaner from the pow-
er supply.
• Then proceed as described in chapter “3.6 Moving the
Kobold VB100 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner” on page 26.
The lter area on the cordless vacuum
cleaner is damp; moisture has got in.
Dampness in the lter area can damage the device.
• Should the lter area be damp, make sure to dry it be-
fore using the
device any further.
• Replace the Kobold FP100 Premium Filter Bag and the
motor protection lter of the Kobold VB100.
