information about this caller’s name and number.
Memory match
If the incoming telephone number is an exact match with a telephone
number in your directory, the name that appears on the screen matches the
corresponding name in your directory.
For example, if Elizabeth Jones calls, her name appears
as ELIZABETH if this is how you entered it into your
directory.
How call history works
Information about the last 65 incoming calls is stored in the call history. The
most recent call has the highest entry number. (For example, if two calls have
been received, the call with the entry number 02 in the call history is the more
recent one.) You can review the call history to nd out who has called, return
the call, save the caller’s name and number into the directory, or save the
caller’s number into one-touch or speed dial memory locations.
When the call history is full, the oldest entry is deleted to make room for new
incoming call information.
If a call is answered before the information appears on the screen, it is not
saved in the call history.
If you choose NO CALLS in CALL LOG (see Feature summary on page 13),
the telephone does not store the caller ID information in the call history.
