Caller ID operation
To store a call history entry in a memory location
Use the following steps to store the telephone number of a call history entry in
a one-touch or speed dial memory location.
When the telephone is idle, press CID/ or CID/ to
enter the call history.
Press CID/ or CID/ to scroll to the desired caller ID
entry.
If you need to change the way the telephone number
is dialed, press SELECT continually to scroll through
the various dialing formats:
area code + seven-digit number
1 + seven-digit number
seven-digit number
1 + area code + seven-digit number
Press MEM. The screen shows ENTER LOCATION.
To save the displayed telephone number in a one-touch memory location,
press the desired one-touch key (M1, M2 or M3).
-OR-
To save the displayed telephone number in a speed dial memory location,
press a dial pad key (0 through 9) to choose the desired speed dial
memory location.
The screen shows STORED with a conrmation tone
and then returns to the call history.
Press FLASH to return to idle mode.
If there is no number in the displayed call history entry, when you press
MEM in step 4, you will hear an error tone.
If the memory location you selected in step 5 above is occupied, the new
telephone number replaces the old one. Take caution not to replace entries
you do not wish to delete from the memory locations.
