Switch an OTB communication to the intercom call
While talking in an OTB call with a single device, you can switch to the intercom
call.
During an OTB communication:
1. Press INTCOM on the handset or the base.
2. The screen displays Switch to intercom? Press SELECT.
3. To answer the intercom call, press
/TALK/RECALL
, , or ANSWER on the
handset; or or ANSWER on the base; or any dialing key on the destination
handset or base.
4. To end the intercom call, press END.
Turn the OTB call on or off
You can activate or deactivate the OTB feature on the handset or the base, when
the OTB call is turned off, the screen displays No PTT call.
1. Press OTB on the handset or the base when idle.
2. PressPress or on the handset, or CALLS / or PHONEBOOK / on the
telephone base to scroll to PTT On/Off, and then press SELECT.
3. PressPress or on the handset, or CALLS / or PHONEBOOK / on the
telephone base to scroll to On or Off, and then press SELECT to save. You hear
a confirmation tone.
Intercom
Use the intercom features for conversations between the telephone base and
handsets.
1. Press MENU on the handset or telephone base when idle.
2. PressPress or on the handset, or CALLS / or
PHONEBOOK / on the telephone base to scroll to
Intercom, and then press SELECT.
3. Use the dialing keys to enter a destination handset or base
number.

Press or on the handset, or CALLS / or
PHONEBOOK / on the telephone base to scroll to a
destination handset or the base, and then press SELECT.
4. To answer the intercom call, press
/TALK/RECALL
, , or ANSWER on the
handset; or or ANSWER on the base; or any dialing key on the destination
handset or base.
5. To end the intercom call, press END.
NOTE
When there are four devices on intercom at the same time, you will not receive any voice
announcement alert from sensors.
