NOTES
• If your answering machine is turned
off but Remote Access is turned on,
the phone will enter into the remote
access mode after 14 rings and play the
ANSWER ONLY outgoing message.
• You can then enter the
*
key and the
4-digit remote access PIN (Default
PIN: 0000) to activate the remote
access feature. When your answering
machine memory is full and the
answer mode is set to Answer &
Record, the answer mode will change
to Answer Only automatically. It will
change back to ANS & REC (Answer
& Record) mode automatically after
some messages have been deleted.
Turn on/off the answering
machine
By default, your answering machine is
ON. You can select to turn on or off the
system.
Using the handset:
1. Press when the phone is not in
use.
2. Press to select ANS.
MACHINE.
3. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to TAM ON/OFF,
and press .
4. Press ▼/▲ to scroll to ON or OFF.
5. Select ON and press to turn on
the system The icon displays when
idle.

Select OFF and press to turn off
the system, and the icon disappear
when idle.
• Press to return to previous
menu option.
Using the telephone base:
• Press to turn on or off the answering
machine.
