Troubleshooting
Problem
Piston difficult to move
Filling not possible
Air bubbles in the instrument
The volume delivered is
smaller than that indicated
The instrument doesn’t
indicate any function
Possible cause
Formation of crystals
or deposition of dirt
Filling valve stuck
Purging not complete
Filling tube loose or
damaged
Filling tube does not
dip into the liquid
The instrument has
not been completely
primed
Internal error
Solution
Perform a cleaning cycle.
Clean the filling valve.
If the valve ball is stuck,
use a 200 µl plastic tip
to loosen it. (Fig. 60)
Purge the instrument
again.
Fasten the telescopic
filling tube firmly.
If necessary, cut the tube
off by approx. 1 cm from
the top or replace it.
Fill up the bottle, or
correctly adjust the
length of the telescopic
filling tube.
Prime the instrument
again.
Perform a restart.
