Vehicles with leaf-spring suspension (mechanical suspension).
Purpose
Determining the axle loads
Function
The axle load information for the LSV function is derived from the compression
travel of the axle combination. ECAS height sensors are used for this purpose. In
this particular case of application the sensor delivers a signal that is proportional to
the suspension travel and therefore the current axle load.
