Optionally the function can be automatically deactivated if another
lifting axle is already lifted.
Pay attention to the permitted axle loads corresponding to the axle manufacturer's
information.
If the Tristop cylinders are installed on axle 2 and 3, the Lifting axle function pa-
rameter (OptiTurn/OptiLoad) must be interrupted when the parking brake is en-
gaged.
Control options
Permanently automatic
The function starts independently of the driver, according to the defined boundary
conditions.
If a SmartBoard is installed, the automatic function can be deactivated temporarily,
to save air for instance.
The Automatic function can also be switched off completely and switched on again
via the SmartBoard.
The manoeuvering assistance button or the Trailer Remote Control (only in combi-
nation with ELEX and version TEBS E2 or higher) can be used to put the automatic
function into forced lowering mode by pressing the button for > 5 seconds.
OptiTurn is activated again after the ignition has been switched off and on again.
OptiTurn and OptiLoad can be deactivated separately via the Smart-
Board.
Automatic start of OptiTurn when reversing
By means of monitoring the reversing light via TEBS E or ELEX Opti-
Turn is started automatically with reverse driving. The function is deac-
tivated again after a longer stationary periods or when the vehicle
moves forward.
If the SmartBoard or the Trailer Remote Control has deactivated the
automatic OptiTurn function, the OptiTurn function is also deactivated
for reversing.
Manual control
OptiTurn remains deactivated until it is reactivated by actuating the manoeuvering
assistance button.
The function is started manually via the manoeuvering assistance button: Press the
manoeuvering assistance button once.
The SmartBoard or the Trailer Remote Control (only in combination with ELEX and
version TEBS E2 or higher) can be used as an alternative to the button.
After switching the ignition off and back on again or by switching off with the
SmartBoard, Trailer Remote Control or manoeuvering assistance button, OptiTurn
is deactivated again.
