5. Set the choke lever to position B when the engine is cold.
6. Set the choke lever to position A when the engine is warm.
7. If necessary, move the choke lever to position B when the engine is
hot.
8.6.2 Starting the engine
CAUTION
Risk of injury when starting!
Improper handling during starting can lead to minor injuries.
► Do not pull the starting handle until there is sufficient space and no
persons in the immediate vicinity.
NOTICE
► Change location to start the engine (at least 3 meters from the refuel-
ing station).
NOTICE
Engine damage due to improper handling!
Improper handling can lead to engine damage.
► Do not pull out starting handle as far as it will go.
► Let the starting handle retract slowly.
