9.1 Operating the machine
WARNING
Risk of injury from falling parts!
If the tool breaks, injuries can be caused by ejected parts.
► Use safety goggles.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to uncontrolled machine operation!
► Always hold the machine with both hands and take a firm stand.
► Use safety shoes.
CAUTION
Danger of crushing due to relative movement between motor and
hood!
► Only hold the machine by the handles provided.
► Use protective gloves.
NOTICE
Notes on tool use!
The tool has jammed in the material:
► Switch off the engine and let it cool down.
► Perform tool changesee Maintenance on page 35, Change tool.
► Start the engine.
► Use the new tool to clear the jammed tool.
► Do not use the tool as a lever and work in small parts to avoid getting
caught and damage.
• The operator's designated location is behind the machine.
• Slightly press the handles so you can feel the suspension of the ma-
chine and not the lower stop.
